From an outside perspective, the Caribbean islands can be viewed as an almost homogenous chain of islands, where bright colors line the streets and white sand lines the brilliant ocean blue. With some time spent sailing Antigua, and a discerning eye, the façade of sameness begins to fade and the true spirit and beauty of each of these gems begins to shine.
With many islands visited, many beaches explored, and rum punches enjoyed in many ports, Antigua has stood out to us as the place we wanted to launch our very own crewed catamaran charter. It’s an island that instantly promotes a feeling of inclusiveness, a widespread love of the sea, and an infectiously vibrant local culture. Outside of the hustle and bustle of St. John, Antigua’s 365 beaches are pristine with the care of locals and visitors alike, coming together in a spirit of ecological preservation. In a place with a mélange of locals and expats, everyone you talk to has a funny seagoing anecdote and a smile to offer, reinforcing the rich sailing roots of the historic island.
Whether we are hanging at the Beach Bum Bar in Half Moon Bay, enjoying a night on the town in English Harbour, or zipping along the coastline in our catamaran, Antigua is a place that has captured our hearts and we couldn’t be more thrilled to show you the best this special island has to offer.
